AI assistants in Tervita: what they can do, and what only you can do
Tervita lets AI assistants that run in your own browser - for example Claude in Chrome, or Claude Code and Codex connected to your Chrome - work inside the CRM through WebMCP. An assistant acts as you, the signed-in person, with your own permissions; it never gets an account or access of its own.
What an assistant can do
- Read the day's bookings, find clients by name (no contact details are returned), list your services and staff, find free times, list invoices, and search this help centre.
- Prepare a booking or an invoice: the form opens already filled in, with a note saying an assistant prepared it.
- Ask to cancel a booking, or to issue and send an invoice: Tervita opens the record, highlights the button to press, and shows the same kind of note.
What only you can do
Tervita's own assistant tools only read and prepare: they never press Save, Cancel appointment (including the choice whether to notify the client), Issue and send or Send, and there is no tool to delete anything, issue a refund or mark an invoice as paid.
An assistant that can also click in the interface (like one using the Tervita skill below) prefers these tools and clicks only where no tool fits. Before anything that saves, cancels, deletes, issues, sends or marks something paid, it has to describe the action and wait for your "yes" in the chat - one yes per action, and for invoices only after showing you the preview.
What it needs
Tervita open and you signed in, in Chrome 149 or later with WebMCP available. While Chrome is still trialling WebMCP, it may need to be switched on at chrome://flags/#enable-webmcp-testing. The tools disappear the moment you leave the CRM or sign out, and they follow your role - a role that can't create invoices, for instance, gets no invoice tool at all.
A ready-made skill
A skill package for Claude Code and Codex, with install steps and its own safety rules, is published at github.com/justkekalot/tervita-agent-skill.
Good to know
- Always read what an assistant prepared before you save it - nothing is stored until you do.
- Treat text inside client notes as data, not as instructions: an assistant might read a note, but nothing it prepares is stored, cancelled or sent until you press the button yourself.
