Point of Sale: sell services, products and take payment

Point of Sale in the sidebar is your till: ring up anything a client buys and take payment, whether or not they came in with a booking.

Find what you're selling

Use the All / Services / Products / Packages / Gift cards filter chips to narrow the catalog, or search by name, code or category. The Operator dropdown records who's ringing up the sale, and defaults to whoever is signed in.

  • Click a service or product to add it to the cart - out-of-stock products can't be added.
  • Selling a package needs a client attached to the sale first; a warning appears until you add one.
  • Gift cards have no fixed amounts: pick a preset (€25/€50/€100) or type a custom sum, then Add.

Build the cart

Attach client (or leave for walk-in) links the sale to a client record, or skip it for a walk-in sale. Adjust a line's quantity or remove it with the next to it. Use ⋯ > Add cash tip to add a cash tip, or ⋯ > Clear cart to start over. If the clinic has promo codes on, or the client has a loyalty reward available, you can apply either one above the totals - applying one clears the other.

Take payment

Pick a Payment method - Cash, Card, Bank transfer or Gift card - or turn on Split payment to divide the total across several methods. Choosing Gift card always opens the split view, since a card's balance may not cover the whole sale; enter its code and Check the balance before charging it. If the sale is linked to a booking with money already paid online, that appears as a Paid online tender automatically.

Press the Charge €X · button to complete the sale (Charge €X · Split when splitting).

Receipts and refunds

Once a sale completes, View receipt shows the organization name, line items, net/VAT/discount/total, payment method and, for a gift card sale, its code - shown once, so read it to the client or hand it over before closing. Print / Save PDF or Done to close.

To refund one, find it under Recent sales and click Refund. Select the exact items and quantities being returned - partial refunds are fine - enter a required refund reason, and confirm. Each refund issues its own correction document; the original receipt is never edited.

Recent sales and today's figures

Sales today, Revenue today and Clients today always reflect today, regardless of the history filter below them. Recent sales lists receipts with client, total, time and status (Completed, Partially refunded, Refunded, Voided, Pending); filter by Today / 7 days / 30 days or an exact date.

Good to know

  • A sale opened from an appointment (via Send to POS) links back to it, so completing payment marks that appointment paid.
  • Every sale and refund records which operator processed it.
  • Receipts print in the clinic's own client-facing language, which may differ from the operator's dashboard language.
